A trolley for moving textile pieces between workstations comprises a clamp with two parallel branches. One branch can be maneuvered by means of a perpendicular arm associated with another ratchet. The other is fixed and coaxial with a disk associated with a ratchet whereby its orientation may be varied. The clamp is mounted on a crossmember of a movable member of a vertical jack. The jack is disposed between two tubular columns which guide the crossmember and one of which has at its upper end a quick-release connector. This is used to connect the jack to a compressed air supply.
