PURPOSE:To control pressure against draft pressure by gravity-dropping lubricating oil from a head tank into a stern tube to pressurize lubricating oil in the stern tube, and elevating the top of a discharge tube to moderate pressure on outlet side. CONSTITUTION:A pipeline 3 extended from a gravity tank 1 installed at a high position is connected to an inlet side of a stern tube 2. The height of the gravity tank 1 is set a little higher than the highest point to which the top of a discharge tube 4 rises. Four swivel joints 5-8 are used in the discharge tube 4, and the top swivel joint 7 cna be pivoted in the vertical direction on the swivel joint 8 as the base. A pipeline 12 for gravity-dropping lubricating oil into a reserving tank 11 is extended from the swivel joint 8 at the other end of the discharge pipe 4, and a pipeline 13 is extended from the reserving tank 11 to the gravity tank 1 through a circulating pump 16. |
