PURPOSE:To obtain a lithographic printing plate having a fine finish with no blur by forming a surface-roughened polyolefin (PO) resin layer on one side of a polyester film, a mirror-finished PO resin layer on the other side, and an emulsion layer on the surface-roughened layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface-roughened PO resin layer is formed on one side of the polyester film, and the mirror-finished PO resin layer on the other side. The emulsion layer is formed on the surface-roughened layer of the both-side PO coated polyester film, and a gelatin-base back coat layer on the mirror- finished layer. Both the PO resin layers are formed by melt extrusion. PE may be used as the PO. An original is brought into contact with the emulsion side of the resulting photographic material, and the photographic material is exposed from the side opposite to the emulsion side, and passes through a series of photographic processes to obtain the lithographic printing plate. This printing plate has no blur on the surface, and when offset printing is carried out with the printing plate, the printed paper having a fine finish with no blur is obtd. |
