THERAPY BATH JET NOZZLE ASSEMBLY WITH PROVISION FOR SHUT-OFF An adjustable water/air jet nozzle assembly for whirlpool baths and the like and having means for user selected shut-off during operation and means for preventing shut-off back pressure from causing the flow of water into the air supply pipe which may-otherwise create a safety hazard and detrimentally affect the performance of the remaining open jet nozzles. The assembly comprises a novel venturi fitting having a check valve in the air passage between the air supply pipe and the water/air mixing chamber. The check valve is open during normal flow operation but blocks off the air passage during shut-off operation to prevent-water backflow. The assembly also comprises a readily rotatable spring-loaded eyeball nozzle secured between inner and outer flanged cylindrical fittings that thread into the venturi fitting through a bathtub wall opening to secure the assembly to the bathtub wall.
