PURPOSE:To prevent fuel from leaking by permitting a fuel take-out port to be securely located downwardly of a fuel intake port of said device in what attitude an outboard motor is settled, in the captioned internal combustion engine having said submixture gas supply device. CONSTITUTION:The captioned internal combustion engine horizontally arranged has a carburetor 22 including a float chamber 43 provided downwardly of an air intake path 32 communicated with an intake air box 23 serving to take in external air, and mixture gas produced in said carburetor is supplied to a crank chamber 19 and injected to a combustion chamber 24 via a scavenging path 26. In addition, another mixture gas is supplied to the scavenging path 26 from a sub-carburetor 46 serving as a sub-mixture gas supply device. Thereupon, air introduction to the sub-carburetor 46 is adapted to be effected through an air introduction tube 51 connected to the intake air box 23. Moreover, a coupling part 64 of said air introduction tube 51 to the intake air tube 23 set upwardly of the fuel intake port 63 when the fuel takeout port 62 of the float chamber 43 is settled upwardly of the fuel intake port 63 of the sub-carburetor 46. |
