PURPOSE:To simultaneously cut off a water stream with a simple structure by forming an annular cylinder chamber on the upper cover of a runner, storing a piston in this cylinder, and providing a deflector cutting off the water stream at one end of the piston. CONSTITUTION:When a main-machine stop command is sent to an operation control device 12 due to an abrupt change of a load or an abnormality of the equipment, the fluid is fed to a close side cylinder chamber 7a via a close side operation pipe 10, and the fluid in an open side cylinder chamber 7b is discharged via an open side operation pipe 11. A deflector fixed to a piston 8 is lowered by the fluid pressure in the close side cylinder chamber 7a, and the water stream sprayed through a nozzle 3 and hitting a runner 2 is cut off. Accordingly, the water stream can be cut off efficiently and simultaneously with a simple structure, and no unbalanced force is applied to the runner 2. |
