PURPOSE:To prevent the collection of various dusts, water scale, casting sands, corrosive deposits etc. due to the interaction of their surface energy by forming a coating layer on the inner surface of a heat exchanger that composed of phlorosilicon resin or fluorine-contained polymer having low surface energy. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger having two rows of tubes, each row consisting of 32 tubes of 10mm inner diameter X 300mm long X 1.2mm thick tube made of brass, total of 64 tubes, is degreased and applied a treatment of inner surface. First, phlorosilicon paint consisting of freon solution containing 3wt% of phlorosilicon monomer [C8F17C2H4Si(NH2)3] is deposited in the tank 10, and is introduced through the heat exchanger (0) for 5min at a rate of 10l/min in the direction of arrow A by a pump 11. Then, the drying air at 150 deg.C is drawn for drying and baking into the heat exchanger for 10min at a rate of 10l/min in the direction of arrow B by a drying fluid supplying device 13. In this way, the inner surface of the upper and lower tank 1, 3 and tube 5 of the heat exchanger (0) is coated with a phlorosilicon film having the average thickness of 1mum. |
