发明名称 METHOD FOR ADDING FLUX TO MOLTEN METAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To control supplying rate of desiliconizing agent in accordance with tapping rate of pig iron using inexpensive apparatus, by assuming the tapping rate from the level variation of molten pig iron in torpedo, at adding desiliconizing agent in the way of transferring molten pig iron tapped from blast furnace to torpedo. CONSTITUTION:During the flow of molten pig iron tapped from blast furnace is passed through a molten pig iron spout 3, desiliconizing agent is added thereon through a hopper 4 and a feeder 5 provided above spout, and fed together with molten pig iron into the torpedo 7 through a tilting spout 6. Thereat, the level L of molten pig iron in the torpedo 7 is measured continuously by a noncontacting type mu wave level gauge 8, passing rate of molten pig iron in the spout 3 being adding position of desiliconizing agent is assumed from variation in the level L, and supplying rate of said agent is controlled in accordance with the variation. Therefore, pig iron receiving member (n) proportional to brick decrease in the torpedo 7, and a measured value (x) of the gauge 8 are inputted to an arithmetic controller 9 to calculate tapping rate, and the result is outputted to a feeder 5 to control adding quantity of desiliconizing agent.
