PURPOSE:To prevent mixture gas from being severely rarefied in supercharging operation with higher reliability by employing a solenoid for opening and closing an auxiliary fuel path, and keeping the auxiliary fuel path opened upon any trouble of a pressure switch or the solenoid. CONSTITUTION:When supercharger is not operated or does not reach prescribed operating pressure even if it is operated upon turning on an ignition switch 5, an electric current is flows through a solenoid 2 since a pressure switch 6 has been switched on. Accordingly, a plunger 3 is lifted against a spring 7, and ball valve 8 is forced to make close contact with a seat part 11 of an auxiliary fuel path 10 owing to the force of a spring 9. While, supercharging pressure once exceeds a prescribed valve, the pressure switch 6 is turned off, whereby the plunger 3 is lowered and hence the ball valve 8 is separated from the seat part 11. Thereupon, fuel in a float chamber 12 is allowed to flow to a main well 14 through the auxiliary fuel path 10 and an orifice 13. Thus, the amount of fuel to be supplied to an engine is increased. |
