PURPOSE:To prevent the color mixing in color developer tanks and to permit the reuse of recovered toners by providing a means for cleaning a developing device in the stage of mode change-over and providing a means for separating and removing the toner incorporated into the cleaning liquid thereof. CONSTITUTION:The 1st supplying and recovering means (for example, a pump 31B, a feed pipe, recovery pipe, etc.) which supplies the black developer 30B stored in the black developer tank 29B to a developing device 5 and recovers the same into the tank 29B, the 2nd supplying and recovering means which supplies the black developer 30B stored into the tank 29B to the cleaning device and recovers the same into the tank 29B, the 3rd supplying and recovering means which supplies the developers 30M, 30C, 30Y from the color developing tanks 29M, 29C, 29Y contg. the developers 39M, etc. except the black developer to the device 5 and recovers respectively the developers into the tank 29M, etc. and the 4th supplying and recovering means which supplies the cleaning liquid 101 stored in a cleaning tank 100 and recovers the same into the tank 100 are provided. A toner processing means which separates the developer 29B, etc. recovered into the tank 100 from the cleaning liquid 101 is further provided. |
