<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of mechanical and electric fault by constituting the player that the operation of a lock mechanism is blocked in abnormal state where a foreign matter is given from a cassette loading inlet into the player. CONSTITUTION:If a cassette P is loaded from a cassette loading slit while a foreign matter W is given from the cassette loading inlet of the tape player, a piece 60b constituting a bending lever 60 is turned largely against a spring 72 to allow the movement of an eject member backward. A stopper 71, however, regulating the closing angle of pieces 60a, 60b constituting the lever 60 is provided to block the operation of the lock mechanism. Thus, even when the eject member is moved sufficiently backward, it is not locked and an operation similar to the ejection is attained and the eject member 17 and a locking mechanism are restored to the non-play state. Then the cassette P is ejected. Thus, even in an unusual operating state, generation of mechanical and electric fault is prevented.</p> |
