<p>PURPOSE:To erase the data of a PROM and carry out a writing in the same socket body by irradiating a light for erasing the data on the PROM with a terminal of the PROM contacting with a terminal of PROM writer. CONSTITUTION:A window 29 of a charged EPROM 24 is approached to an opening window and confronted to each other. During rewriting a data, a driving circuit of a lamp 18 at a data erasing section is operated, for a fixed time, an ultraviolet ray is emitted, and through the window 16, the light is arradiated on the window 29 to erase the data. Thereafter, a data writing circuit operates, and through terminal columns 8, 10, the data is transferred to EPROM terminals 26, 28 and written in the EPROM24. In this manner, a PROm is not carried according to respective businesses, so that for instance, an application to an automatic machine such as the PROM data automatically rewriting machine and the like can be easily done.</p> |
