<p>A seal for a roll-on applicator device is disclosed which seals at the top of the ball and prevents evaporation of product from within the container or drying up of the product to prevent further application. In a roll-on applicator device for products such as deodorants and the like, including a container having a round applicator ball captured by a lip in a neck of the container, the round applicator ball adapted to rotate in the neck and have limited longitudinal movement to permit transfer of product from the container, the applicator ball adapted to provide at least a partial seal when pressed in towards the container, and having a cap adapted to fit over the applicator ball and neck and press the applicator ball in towards the container to partially seal the applicator ball in the container, the improvement comprising a sealing means forming part of the cap to seal between the lip of the neck and the applicator ball.</p> |
