PURPOSE:To eliminate defects such as operating difficulty or vulnerability of abrasion and also preventing discoloration of recording paper by using fixing- type color-developing paper which has lost its properties as such as a result of fixing by light of predetermined wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A base paper 4 having a label 3 is fed by the rotary driving of a platen roller 1 between the platen roller 1 and a thermal head 2 and a label 3 is printed developing a color, in a label printer. The base paper 4 is fed from a roll body 4a through a guide 5. After passing through a thermal head 2, the base paper is rapidly bent by a separator 6 of sharp-angled shape resulting in the peeling off and issuing of a label 3. The separated label 3 is fed forward by means of a transport roller 10 and subjected to light from a fixing light emitter 11. The fixing-type color developing paper is used as this label 3. It is fixed by changing its properties with a light falling within e.g. a range of 450-500Angstrom and loses its quality as a color developing paper after fixing. |
