PURPOSE:To improve the measurement accuracy at a high humidity value by determining a humidity value by using the dew point realized amidst the repetition of heating and cooling. CONSTITUTION:A humidity sensor 1 installed on a thermocouple 6 having a Peltier effect is constituted by disposing a moisture absorbing material on a base plate consisting of ceramics, etc. and the resistance value between electrodes 2 decreases sharply when the sensor is brought into a condensation state. The cooling and heating of the temp. humidity sensor are alternately repeated with the dew point as a boundary by controlling the current to be passed to the thermocouple 6. The condensation temp. at the periodically incoming dew point to be detected by the humidity sensor is detected by a temp. detecting means 4 and the relative humidity at the room temp. is determined by calculation from the detected condensation temp. and the room temp. detected by a separately installed room temp. detecting means. |
