<p>PURPOSE:To obtain massive sintered products of good quality in high yield and a to utilize silicomanganese slag powder effectively by laminating the granulated material consisting of prescribed percentage of said slag powder, breeze, and a powdered ore to prescribed thickness and by carrying out sintering. CONSTITUTION:Water and a binder are added to the sintering material consisting of, by weight, 50-85% silicomanganese slag powder, 1-6% breeze, and the balance powdered ore, which are granulated. The granulated material is charged in the laminated state, e.g., into a sintering machine; at this time, the thickness of lamination layer of the sintering material is 100-250mm. The breeze, etc., is then burnt under ventilation to attain the prescribed sintering temp., so that the sintered product of silicomanganese slag powder excellent in quality such as strength can be obtained in high yield.</p> |
