PURPOSE:To transmit accurate information according to the combination of an interchangeable lens and an extension accessory by using AND logic arithmetic from the intermediate lens and information from the extension accessory and transmitting the result to a camera body. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic circuit 22 is installed in a converter lens 3 and a serial adding circuit, a subtracting circuit, a 1-bit left shifting circuit, a 2-bit shifting circuit, and an AND circuit are provided in the arithmetic circuit and selected according to a signal A8 from an address decoder 17b. This circuit 22 inputs the data signal from the interchangeable lens 2 which is converted into a serial signal and the data signal of the arithmetic value of the ROM20b in the converter respectively and specific selected arithmetic operation is carried out for those values to send the result to the camera body 1. Consequently, accurate information corresponding to the combination of the lenses 2 and 3 is transmitted to the camera body 1. |
