PURPOSE:To continuously discharge a solid component during operation and to make it possible to wash the clogging of filter cloth by a scattered separated liquid, by providing endless filter cloth from bellow to above in the inside thereof to the peripheral wall of a rotary basket. CONSTITUTION:A basket 6 is rotated at a high speed by a motor 9 and all of motor rollers 15 are rotated at a low speed to a direction raising the inside of filter cloth 18. Further, after a turntable 20 was rotated at a relatively low speed by a motor 23, a liquid containing solid particles such as sludge is supplied into the basket 6 from a liquid supply pipe 11. The solid component in the liquid is pressed by the filter cloth 18 running upwardly by centrifugal force and reaches the turning-back port of the upper end in an adhered and accumulated state to be released from the filter cloth 18 to be fallen and recovered on the turntable 20. The filtered separated liquid is impinged to and passed through the filter cloth 18 in a falling side from the back side thereof and flowed down to the part below a tank 3 as it washes the filter cloth 18.
