PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of a grid ball, by attaching plate shaped support metal jigs to the inner peripheral surface of a hole part and the inner and outer surfaces in the vicinity of said hole part so as to slightly embed the same and imparting an abrasion resistant castable lining. CONSTITUTION:After support metal jigs 20 (22, 24, 26) are arranged to the inner peripheral surface of a hole part 6 and the inner and outer surfaces in the vicinity of said hole part 6, an abrasion resistant castable lining 30 utilizing a generally used material is applied to the hole part 6 so as to embed the support metal jigs 20 to constitute an abrasion resistant refractory lining to the hole part. In order to eliminate the edge parts at the entrance and exit of the hole part 6, chamfering is pref. applied to the edge parts 22b, 24b, 26b of the support metal jigs 22, 24, 26. Because the aforementioned structure is provided, the maintenance of the hole part, for example, a FCC grid ball, a jet orifice or a nozzle is extremely easy and the judgment of residual life can be also judged accurately. |
