Device for a faucet (1) designed to provide a connection for a dishwasher or the like that can be shut off. The device comprises a stop cock plug (7) surrounded by the faucet (1). By manually manipulating a control (4), the stop cock plug (7) can be made to assume one of two different locator positions wherein flow communication with one of the faucet's (1) flow channels (9, 10) for cold or hot water, respectively is induced in a channel (8) taken up in the stop cock plug (7). Said water flows from the channel's (8) opposite end sections via an outlet channel (2) to a connector (3) at the faucet (1). In addition to being able to thus select whether the connector (3) is to be supplied hot or cold water, the control (4) can also be used to set the stop cock plug (7) to a position between the two locator positions, at which time the water supply to the connector (3) is cut off.<IMAGE> |
