PURPOSE:To produce a cheese-containing milk having smooth texture, by emulsi fying alkali-treated cheese, etc., in water, adding a sugar, dehydrating the mix ture to obtain powder and mixing the powder with milk, etc. CONSTITUTION:Cheese (e.g. cream cheese) is added with 1-5% alkaline substance (e.g. sodium phosphate) and, if necessary, water, and heated to effect the alkali treatment. The treated cheese is emulsified in water to obtain a liquid having a solid content of 10-40%. The liquid is added with 0.5-10pts. of sugar (e.g. component and the mixture is dehydrated and dried. The obtained powder is mixed with milk, etc.
