PURPOSE:To facilitate the recognition of many external connecting terminals based on the positions and the number of the protruded parts, by protruding tab suspending leads to the outside of a package. CONSTITUTION:Many external connecting terminals 3 are provided on the four side surfaces of a package constituting an IC1. A tab 4 is held by four tab suspending leads 5 within a package 2. Three of the tab suspending leads 5 are protruded to the outside from the package 2. The tip parts of the leads are made to be a ring shape, and positioning pins are inserted through the rings at the time of an inspection process. When the applications of the leads are set so that, e.g., the lead 3a is used for a power source and the lead 3b is used for GND, the applications of the leads can be readily found. Furthermore, inspection and mounting can be automatically performed. |
