PURPOSE:To vary magnification continuously to a large or small value by providing fixed magnification selection keys, variable magnification keys, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a fixed magnification selection key 1 among 1-7 is operated, an original is copied while reduce to 0.64 time and when the key 7 is operated, the original is copied while enlarged to 1.41 times. Further, when one of variation selection keys 15 and 16, e.g. up key 16 is operated intermittently, the copy magnification increases intermittently by 0.01 time at every time and when the down key 15 is operated intermittently, the copy magnification decreases intermittently by 0.01 time at every time. When the key 15 or 16 is operated continuously, the copy magnification varies continuously up to 1.41 times or down to 0.64 time. Thus, when the copying magnification varies by 0.01 time at every time, this is regarded as substantially continuous variation. Thus, the copy magnification is varied and set to a desired value speedily and accurately. |
