PURPOSE:To easily update a code number for prevention against illegal use of a card by providing digits which can be updated as part of the code number of the card, and increasing the number of the digits or replacing it with a random number. CONSTITUTION:A gate entrance/exit controller reads the code number of the card that user inserts at an entrande/exit gate and opens the gate 6 when a code number which is keyed in coincides with the number of the card, allowing the vehicle to enter. A card reader 3 consists of a read head 3a which reads magnetic informatio recorded on the card and a write head 3b which writes update data on the code number. A key input device 4 includes a ten-key keyboard on which the user kays in data when entering. A receipt issuing device 5 issues a receipt on which a new code number is printed when the code number is changed into the random number. |
