PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of variation in copy reduction/enlargement ratio per unit as the time when a reduction/enlargement setting key is pressed becomes long by detecting the time of depression. CONSTITUTION:When a reduction/enlargement ratio up key 21 or down key 22 is pressed, a reduction/enlargement ratio up signal S1 or down signal S2 is inputted to a microcomputer 25 during the period. The microcomputer 25, on the other hand, is connected to a driving circuit 28 for a stepping motor 27, a driving circuit 30 for a servo-motor 29, and a driving circuit 26 which drives a reduction/enlargement ratio display device 23. When the signal S1 is inputted with the key 21, the microcomputer 25 increases the copy magnification at intervals of 1%. When the signal S2 is inputted with the key 22, on the other hand, the copy reduction/enlargement ratio decreases at intervals of 1%. When the key 21 is pressed continuously, the microcomputer 25 increases the copy reduction/enlargement ratio continuously. When the key 22 is pressed continuously, on the other hand, the microcomputer 25 decreases the copy reduction/enlargement ratio continuously. Thus, a desired reduction/enlargement ratio is set with good operativity, so copy operation efficiency is improved. |
