PURPOSE:To provide a display function and a print function by adding a means transferring a visual image on an image medium onto a transfer member. CONSTITUTION:An image output device is operated in the display mode where an image read by a reader and an output image of a computer and an LAN are displayed or the print mode printing out the image. When the print mode is selected, the visual image is transferred onto a transfer member 18 carried from a paper supply cassette 17 by a transfer means comprising a charger 19 before the visual image reaches a display section 8. After the transfer paper 18 is detached from a photosensitive belt 2, the paper is carried by a fixation roller 20, fixed and discharged to a display tray 21. The photosensitive belt passing through the transfer charger 19 is fed to a cleaning device 15 to clean residual toner.
