PURPOSE:To cast simultaneously different kinds of ingots from one kind of molten steel contained into one ladle by admitting the molten steel into the respective divided vessels, adding respectively required alloys into the molten steels in the divided vessels and casting the molten steels with respective casting molds. CONSTITUTION:The molten steel in a ladle 1 is poured into a pouring basin 8 from which the molten steel is admitted through pouring ports 10, 10 into the divided vessels 3-1, 3-2. The required alloys are added by using alloy adding pipes 6-1, 6-2 to the respective molten steel flows. Since the tundish 3 is divided by a partition wall 7, the mixing of the molten steels between the respective divided vessels is obviated. Casting of different steel kinds of the ingots is thus made possible by adding the different alloys from the pipes 6-1 and 6-2 to the molten steels. |
