PURPOSE:To reduce cost, by providing a sheet form spacer between a driving hammer block and an electromagnet block to adjust the gap between a movable yoke and an iron core. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of protrusion la from the back side of a hammer support plate 7 in the driving hammer block A to the rear end surface of the movable yoke 8 and the quantity of retraction lb from the front side of a yoke plate 11 in the electromagnet block B to the tip surface of the iron core 13 are individually measured, then the gap go=lb-la between the rear end surface of the yoke 8 and the tip surface of the iron core 13 is calculated, and the thickness (t) of the spacer 25 is so set as to obtain a desired gap G=go+t. The spacer 25 is provided with positioning holes 25a..., and a combination of one kinds or plural kinds of the spacers 25 differing in thickness and having a total thickness of t is inserted between the hammer support plate 7 and the yoke plate 11, whereby the gap between the rear end surface of the yoke 8 and the tip surface of the iron core 13 is adjusted to the desired gap G. According to this system, component parts can be inexpensively manufactured, and the printing head can be inexpensively provided. |
