PURPOSE:To enable highly accurate signal correction without enlargement of circuits by controlling the frequency of correcting information generation according to the position of pick-up image display and centralizing many correcting informations at portions where rapid changes occur. CONSTITUTION:An image signal Vi and correcting information Dk1 are inputted to correcting part 4. A signal S synchronized with an image signal Vi is inputted to variable control part 10. By inputting the signal S, an output cycle of address signal Ak1 which is sent to an correcting information generating part 6 is changed in compliance with time. The correcting information generating part 6 sequentially outputs to the correcting part 4 the correcting information Dk1 as time passes which becomes corresponded to the inputted signal Ak1. The correcting part 4 outputs a signal V0, i.e. corrected image signal V1, according to the correcting signal Dk1. Thus, the image signal part which is corresponded to the range of display equivalent to the correcting information Dk1 is changed according to display position. This makes it possible not only to enhance correcting accuracy but also to reduce cost, which has not been realized by conventional method.
