PURPOSE:To speed up a printing by using a dot pattern of a letter written vertically or laterally and prepared or used previously. CONSTITUTION:A dot pattern transmitted from a computer 2 to a load section 1-2 is received by a processing section 1-9 when a control section of an electric power source is switched on, and being housed in a memory 1-7, and an information of a letter or the like having a higher appearance frequency among the dot patterns written vertically and laterally is received, and being housed in the memory 1-7 individually with rotated 90 deg. previously. A rotation of a letter or the like being developed into a memory 1-6 is judged that it is necessary or not by a judging section 1-3. A dot pattern 4 is read out from a memory 1-7 by a setting section 1-4, and being housed in a memory 1-6 with a 90 deg. rotation process is carried out, when judged that is necessary based on a flag read out from a memory 1-8 by a reading out section 1-5. The dot pattern is housed in the memory 1-7, and the flag of that effect is set in the memory 1-8. On the other side, the dot pattern is housed at a prescribed position in the memory 1-6, when it is judged that the rotation of 90 deg. is not necessary. |
