PURPOSE:To execute efficiently the reproducing operation of recording blocks by using a recording tape of freely attachable and detachable cassette type and recording response messages and businesses on a single recording track of the recording tape for block management mode and dividing this recording track to many successively allocated recording blocks to use it. CONSTITUTION:Recording block address means, which indicate successively display numbers of plural recording blocks S1, S2, S3, G1, G2...G10 allocated successively on a recording tape 1 on a basis of the counted value obtained by counting the rotation number of a reel of the recording tape 1 from the start or the end of the tape, and block designating means which designate display numbers of desired recording blocks out of said plural recording blocks in the preliminarily registered block order are used to record the voice input having an optional length or reproduce recorded contents. Thus, only the most urgent and important recorded contents are extracted and reproduced in a very short time and are heard by successive designation of unheard recording blocks.
