<p>PURPOSE:To form easily a unique uneven pattern which is rich in variety, by a method wherein a foam coating material is applied to the surface of a building material, from above of which a worm-eaten pattern having a depth reaching up to the interior of the building material is applied by an embossing roll, to the surface of which a finishing coating material is applied, which is dried by heating. CONSTITUTION:A basic coating material is applied to the whole of the surface of a ceiling base plate 1 such as rock wool or plasterboard by a roll coater and dried, acrylic series emulsion type foam coating material 1 containing an appropriate quantity of azobisisobutyronitrile as a foaming agent is applied partly on the basic coating material, to which a worm-eaten pattern reaching up to the interior of the ceiling base plate 1 applied by an embossing roll giving the worm-eaten pattern, to the surface of which a finishing coating material is applied after finish processing has been applied and then heating and drying are applied to the same. As foaming is performed by generating nitrogen gas through decomposition of azobisisobutyronitrile in the foam coating material in the heating and drying processes, the finish coating material is pushed up and a foamed material 2 having an uneven surface and finish film 3 are formed.</p> |
