PURPOSE:To accurately detect a circulating current and an armature current by less detectors by calculating to add or subtract current detected values in an arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:An insulated current/voltage converter (DC LINK) 7 formed of Hall elements is inserted to a DC side line of a positive side converter 5, and a DC LINK8 is also inserted to the DCside line of a negative side converter 6. Electromotive forces e1, e2 respectively detected by the DC LINKs 7, 8 are input to an arithmetic circuit 9 provided in the next stage, added or subtracted to calculate a circulating current Ic and an armature current Ia. |
