<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled treating agent composed of a specific silane containing quaternary amino group and an organopolysiloxane, and effective to impart a solid material with durable hydrophilic property, antistaticity and antibacterial property. CONSTITUTION:The objective treating agent is composed mainly of (A) 100pts. wt. of a silane of formula I (X is halogen; R is 10-20C univalent hydrocarbon group; R<1> is 2-10C alkylene; R<2>, R<3> and R<4> are univalent hydrocarbon group; Z is alkoxy; a is 0 or 1) and (B) 1-100pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane containing (i) one or more units of formula II (Z<1> is alkoxy; R<7> is oxygen atom or 2-4C alkylene; R<5> and R<6> are univalent hydrocarbon group; b is 1-3; c is 0-2) and (ii) one or more units of formula III (R<8> is H or univalent organic group; R<9> is 2-10C alkylene; R<10> is univalent hydrocarbon group; d and e are 0-50; d+e is 2-100; f is 1 or 2).</p> |
