PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a resin composition consisting of an acetal resin and a thermoplastic polyester with an iso(thio) cyanate compound, and having improved impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:An acetal resin composition obtained by incorporating (A) a resin composition consisting of (i) 40-99.5wt% acetal resin and (ii) 60-0.5wt% thermoplastic polyester elastomer with (B) 0.01-5wt% iso(thio)cyanate compound, e.g. toluene diisocyanate. For example, an elastomer containing polybutylene terephthalate and polybutylene isophthalate as short-chain ester units and polyoxy(tetramethylene) glycol terephthalate and polyoxy(tetramethylene) glycol isophthalate as long-chain ester units, etc., is used as the component (ii). |
