PURPOSE:To perform initial loading at a high speed by storing an initial program in an EPROM, and transferring it to the s-RAM of a system at actuating. CONSTITUTION:The initial program is recorded in the nonvolatile memory EPROM 4. A control circuit 6 controls a data bus switching circuit 2 with a data bus switching control signal 101 at actuating to connect the data bus of the s-RAM 1 to the data bus of the EPROM 4 and also connect the address bus of the EPROM 4 to the address bus of the s-ROM 1 with an address bus switchingcontrol signal 102, thereby transferring the contents of the EPROM 4 to the s-RAM 1. The control circuit 6 connects the address bus and data bus of the s-RAM to the address bus 12 and data bus 10 of the CPU 3 on the completion of the transfer of the initial program and starts the CPU 3.
