发明名称 JOINING METHOD OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To join composite materials so as to obtain excellent joining characteristics meeting the specifications and applications thereof by removing the metallic matrix of the composite materials from each joint surface of two joining materials and stripping metallic fibers then superposing the fibers on each other and subjecting the fibers to solid phase joining. CONSTITUTION:Only the end faces to be connected of superconductive wires 5 which are the composite materials 1 to be joined and consist of the metallic fibers F of, for example, an Nb-Ti alloy and the metallic matrix M of Cu are dipped into a nitric acid soln., etc. Cu of the matrix M is thereby dissolved to expose the fibers F. The exposing length of the matrix M is made about 10mm. The two fibers F are superposed on each other and only the superposed parts are pressurized by using pressurizing jigs 6 above and below by which the solid phase joining of the fibers is executed.
