PURPOSE:To obtain a multipolar magnet which has accurate shape and size, dense and smooth surface state and good magnetizing accuracy by electrodepositing a high dielectric constant material to the grooves and nongroove portions of a parent die cut from a soft metal material, reinforcing the deposited layer from outside, and then removing the parent die. CONSTITUTION:An attitude cutter having an accurate size of fine grooves formed on the inner circular peripheral surface of a magnetizing yoke is formed, and longitudinal ribs 10 of the prescribed number are formed on the outer periphery of a metal column 9 having relatively soft property and good mechanical workability such as brass or copper by the cutter. The column 9 with the ribs 10 is used as a die, and pure iron or high magnetic permeability alloy such as Permalloy is bonded in a suitable thickness by electroforming on the grooves and nongroove portions of the side of the die. Normal alloy steel is engaged with the outside to be reinforced, the column 9 is then removed, and a magnetizing yoke having accurate shapes of shoulders 11 and bottom 12 of the grooves 14 is formed. |
