PURPOSE:To obtain comfortable airconditioning by facilitating to set both cool air bi-level mode and same temperature bi-level mode, while the cool air bi-level mode being capable of obtaining temperature distribution for keeping the occupant' head cool and feet warm by giving temperature difference between upper and lower air outlets and the same temperature bi-level mode being capable of setting both upper and lower outlet temperatures at a desired same value. CONSTITUTION:To the downstream of an internal-external air switching box 1, a blower 5, cooler unit 8 and a heater unit 10 are arranged one after another. The heater unit 10 includes a heat exchanger 11 for heating, a bypass 12 formed adjacent to the heat exchanger 11, and an air mixing damper 13. Three air mixing chambers 14, 14a and 14b are formed separated by an air guide plate 20 to the downstream of the heater unit 10. Corresponding to the air mixing chambers 14, 14a and 14b, an upper air outlet 15, a defroster air outlet 16 and a blower air outlet 18 are formed. A damper 21 working together with said air guide plate 20 to control air flow is rotatably arranged at a location corresponding to the upper air outlet 15. |
