PURPOSE:To obtain an aq. soln. of iron compd. having superior stability for a long period by compounding the aq. soln. of ferrous compd. with a specified stabilizing agent. CONSTITUTION:Hydroxy-carboxylic acid compd. (example: tartaric acid) acting as stabilizing agent is compounded to an aq. soln. contg. ferrous compd. such as ferrous sulfate, ferrous chloride, ferrous nitrate, etc., at the rate of >=2wt% carboxylic acid compd. based on iron.
