<p>This machine fits plastic buttons, attached to a fabric by means of crimped (clinched) point elements by virtue of an ultrasonic welding operation. The machine comprises a magazine 2 of buttons and a magazine 3 of point elements, which magazines are connected to the work zone via respective feed ducts 4, 6, with devices 5, 7 which distribute, one by one, on the one hand the buttons, and on the other hand the point elements. A pusher 8, moved reciprocatingly by means of an actuator (jack) 13, drives the buttons from the end of the first duct 4 as far as a shaft (pin) 34 where a punch and a generator 37 of ultrasonic vibrations are positioned. The front part of the pusher 8 forms strips which are interposed between the fabric and the button during the welding. Application to the fitting of buttons to certain garments. <IMAGE></p> |
