The handle (5) contains an arm (53) the one end of which is connected by pivot pin (31) to link element (29) loaded by spiral spring (32). The other end of the arm (53) is in locking engagement with the hooked end of a push rod (60) loaded by spring (72) and fitted with push handle (71). When the arm (53) is swung from the door-parallel position away from the door leaf (4) the sloping position of the arm releases the locking engagement between catch (22) and catch (10) and the door can be opened. The same swinging motion of the arm (53) can be achieved by pushing handle (71) on the inside of the door.
