PURPOSE:To prevent the winding of defect parts in a cheese, by cutting a spun yarn on sensing yarn defects with a sensor, calling a yarn ending machine thereto, ending the yarn, and restarting the winding of the cheese. CONSTITUTION:A yarn cutter 9 and a yarn defect sensor 10 are provided in each spindle of a spinning machine having a drafting part consisting of rolls 1-3, yarn forming part consisting of conveyor bands 4 and false twisting nozzle 6, pneumatic device 5, delivery rolls 7 and cheese winding part. When the sensor 10 senses a yarn defect, e.g. slub or nep, the yarn cutter 9 is operated to cut a spun yarn. The pneumatic device 5 is operated almost simultaneously therewith to suck and remove the spun yarn. A yarn ending machine 12 is then called thereto and made to carry out yarn ending. |
