Installation for drying products, comprising a central vertical shaft mounted rotatably in an enclosure 10 and supporting superposed levels of annular plates 26, on each of which there is deposited a layer of products to be dried, a fan 24 provided at the inlet of the shaft to make circulate there a constant flow of drying fluid such as superheated steam which passes through the layers of products supported by the annular plates and is returned on the outside of the central shaft towards the fan 24. The invention makes possible the drying of agro-alimentary products and divided products.
