The invention relates to mechanical constructions. The process, forming the subject of the invention, for the manufacture of needle roller bearings having an outer race 3 with a set of needles 1 disposed over its internal face 9, of the type in which the needles 1 are inserted into the race 3 at an angle with respect to the axis of the latter, are distributed uniformly over the internal face 9 of the race 3, are put into a vertical position and are held in this position in order to obtain an assembled rolling bearing, is characterised in that all the needles of a set of needles disposed randomly are inserted simultaneously into the race 3, are directed onto the conical guide surface 8, the outer race 3 is set into an eccentric plane movement with respect to the axis of the conical surface 8, and the needles 1 are directed towards the cylindrical guide surface 10 which uniformly distributes the needles over this surface and puts them into a vertical position. The invention applies especially to the manufacture of radial needle roller bearings, without an inserted cage, having only a single drop-forged outer race inside which the needles of the rolling bearing are disposed. <IMAGE>
