PURPOSE:To prevent the apparatus and device from unnecessary long time operation and adverse influence by a method wherein a timer circuit having a timer driving switch is added, a forced operating switch which is arranged in parallel with a temperature element is interlocked with the timer driving switch. CONSTITUTION:An indoor fan motor 2 is connected to a commercial power source 1, the indoor fan motor 2 is coupled in parallel with a series circuit composed of a contact 7 of a control relay 6 and an outdoor unit 4. A thermistor temperature sensing element 5 and a control circuit 14 are coupled with a driving circuit 19 of the control circuit 6. A timer circuit 13 having a timer driving switch 20 is added to the control circuit 14, a forced operating switch 5 is provided in parallel with the temperature sensing circuit 8, the forced operating switch 5 is interlocked with the timer driving switch 20. By the above structure, even in case that the temperature element does not output a cooling operating signal due to the low temperature in a room, a cooling operation can be started by closing the forced operation switch and kept at forced operation only for the timer circuit operating time, then, the outdoor unit operation is stopped after preset time.
