PURPOSE:To copy two originals on one surface of one sheet of copying paper by bringing the transfer paper into contact with a photosensitive body and restarting the conveyance of the copying paper when the surface part of a photosensitive body corresponding to the start of the 2nd exposure reaches a transfer part when the 2nd original is scanned. CONSTITUTION:A scan is made twice in composite copy mode to copy two originals on the front half and latter half of one copying paper respectively. The composite copy mode has the 1st original mode and the 2nd original mode and when the 2nd original mode is entered, magnification is set after an original is replaced by an operator and the exposure of the 2nd original is started by pressing a print key SW11 again. When the font end of an image formed on the photosensitive body reaches the transfer part, a transfer solenoid 46 is put in operation to bring the copying paper into contact with the photosensitive body and timing rollers 38 and 39a are driven to start transfer operation, so that the copying of the 2nd original is completed after lapse of the registration time T2. Consequently, two originals are copied together on one surface of one sheet of copying paper by two-time scanning and one-time copying operation. |
