PURPOSE:To collect efficiently uranium 235 ion and to relax the decrease of the degree of uranium condensation by using both a bag-shaped electrode surrounding an ionization region and a collection electrode which is separated therefrom in the specified distance in the direction of the atomic beam and maintained in the voltage lower than the bag-shaped electrode. CONSTITUTION:A bag-shaped electrode 2 is provided so as to surrounding an ionization region and a lattice-shaped collection electrode 1 which is charged with the voltage lower than the bag-shaped electrode 2 is provided by separating therefrom in the specified interval in the proceeding direction of the atomic beam. Thereby the ionized ions are efficiently collected without effecting the disturbance of the external electric potential. Furthermore since the distance wherein the ions are crossed through the atomic beam is shortened, the decrease of the degree of condensation due to the electric charge exchange can be diminished. Therefore the collection efficiency and the degree of condensation of uranium can be increased by using such an uranium condensing apparatus by laser.
