PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the impedance of elements arranged in a matrix form, by providing a change-over means for connecting selected line and row wires to corresponding line and row terminals and connecting all of unselected line and row wirings to a common terminal. CONSTITUTION:Switches connected to wirings of line numbers 1-m are set to 31-3m and two contacts are respectively set to A1-Am, B1-Bm while switches connected to wirings of row numbers 1-n and two contacts are respectively set to C1-Cn, D1-Dn. The contacts A1-Am are connected to a line terminal 5 and contacts B1-Bm and D1-Dn are connected to a common electrode 6 while the contacts C1-Cn to a row terminal 7. The terminals or wirings corresponding to selected line and row wirings are connected to the line terminal 5 and line terminal 7 and all of the unselected line and row wirings are connected to the common terminal 6 and, thereafter, for example, if the potentials of the common terminal 6 and the line terminal 5 are made same, the current only of the selected element is flowed to the line terminal 5. Further, voltages at both terminals of the selected element appear at both of the line terminal 5 and row terminals 7.
