摘要 The gap-nozzle chamber impactor (Figure 1) according to the invention is suitable for multi-stage fractionation of solid particles in air, gases or vapours. The impactor consists of inlet and outlet ducts, gap nozzles, impactor elements and fractionating chambers encompassed by these. The fractionating chambers are annular chambers which are formed by outer and inner sleeves (3, 6) arranged alternately on one another and by plates (2, 5) which in turn are each assigned to only one chamber (13). The individual chambers (13) are connected to one another by annular gap nozzles (12), alternately along the inner and outer sleeves (6), respectively; in addition, the upper side of the plates (2, 5) is fitted with disk-shaped, replaceable collector plates (10). The inner plates (2) and sleeves (3) are arranged on a central guiding column (1) provided with a foot (7). The outer plates (5) and sleeves (6) are accommodated in a housing (4) designed as a shell tube. The bottom annular face (17) of the plates (2, 5) adjoins, by way of a curved surface (16), the shells of the bottom shank and of the cylindrical wall. <IMAGE>
